Marine mammal research and advocacy in the New York Bight since 2009.

Gotham Whale has been studying marine mammals in the New York Bight since 2009, and has been cataloguing Humpback Whales since 2012! We also work towards advocating for the conservation of our local marine species and ecosystems, including for designation of the Hudson Canyon as a National Marine Sanctuary and for the protection of Atlantic Menhaden, an important forage fish.
